i would like to know what i could put in a 30 gallon it cant include shelldwellers because my petstore dosnt get them in please help

Lake Tang. fish will be the best options, calvus, brichardi etc.

any lfs thats worth a damn will special order the fish for you.

Just use the fry as feeders to solve that problem.

I would stick to other fish from Lake Tanganyika, whilst Malawi's may tolerate a more neutral Ph, Tangs generally do not and therefore your options for tankmates are somewhat reduced. Diet is not so much of an issue as they are Omnivores.

What about Calvus?
