I am getting close to fully stocking my 18ukg tank. It is a comunity tank which has 2 Giant danios, 5 zebra danios, 5 baloon mollies and 2 albino cory (about 1/2 adult size) but the tank still looks a little empty. The tank is a planted tank with some bog wood.

I do 20% water changes once a week and the water levels are perfect all zero except for the Nitrate which rises to about 10ppm before a water change.

Do the given adult sizes for fish include the fins?

Could I add any more fish? Any suggestions to what fish would look good if I could add more fish?

edit: forgot to mention that the tank is a fluval-600 duo deep with a fluval 3+ (bigger than required) power filter and graval substrate.

Cheers

Yes it does include the fins but the stcokin rule should not be followed that close it more a guideline not a goldenrule if u added some more and u keep changeing the water and such like your doing its ok in my opinion if there all healty looking that is
what matters

you do know that giant danios (Danio aequipinnatus) get to 15.2 cm and need to be in a group of 5 or more?

Thanks for the replys.

My giant danios are happy to shoel with the zebra danios and they seem very happy.

I have read (in the 3 books that I have) that the maximum size for giant danios is 4" They are very cool looking fish.

Cheers
