guys.. jst started to fill my new tank with fishes. so im kinda lost with the stocking stuff.
can a rainbow fish be stock with gouramis?
can a rainbow fish be stock with neon tetras and guppy?
tnx!!

If you havent done a fishless cycle you can only add a few hardy fish.
How many gallons is the tank.
Go to the biginners section pinned topics and read up on cycling a fish tank.

i think a dwarf gouramis is the best cuz it only reach 3 inch..
not rainbow shark, another kind of rainbow fish. it looks like an edge of a army knife(same proportion both side) colors are yellow and blue, others lhas a full body red color..
5 x neon teras or cardinal
5x empber tetra
6 x corys
5 x red zebra danios
2 x dwarf gouramis
1 x female betts
3 x guffy

i like to add tiger barbs, but they said it may nip other fish to death..tsk

What type of corys, do you know that corys grow big?

 erm, did you know that they don't? corydoras catfish range from 1" (e.g. habrosus, hastatus, pygmaeus) to some species getting to about 3" max (some c.aenus, paleatus (sp.) and even though theyre not really "corydoras" Scleromystax barbatus gets to just under 4" and you're not really going to get any bigger than that)
Please only give advice if you know that what youre saying is at least close to the truth

I personally wouldn't have dwarf gouramis, they are often full of all sorts of viral/bacterial diseases in the shops and its not worth the risk IMO.

edit: Yazan, glad to see you have edited it out now :good:

Sorry, pardon me , I thought corys where a type of pleco. Sorry I edited that. :)

well. thats my old tank.. i house my flower horn there and now transfered it to another aquarium.. thats y its cycled..
how did you clculate the fish to the gallons of the tank?

i think ill gamble for the gouramis..
i rather gamble for the gouramis than the tiger barbs all 8 of them..

i have albino corys..

oh.. by the way thats ember teras.. they grow about .75 inch..

gourami and bettas shouldn't be kept together, they are both territorial and occupy the same area of the tank, with you saying female bettas you could always forget eh gourami and get more female bettas, they do best individually or in groups of 4 +
