I just tested it out to see if it came up with the correct gallon amt. for my tank and it was dead-on. My tank is 42 US gallons and it rec. 37" of fish as stock but said I could go up to some much higher number in the future if I was very careful and experienced.

hmmm it got my 4ft tank right...

but its made out my 36x15x18 is 36gal... weird.. i always thought it was a 20...

I have a 21 Gal tank and it's only 30 inches long, I'd say that was about right

I dunno... it told me my 46 gallon was a 28 gallon. I may have slipped up, but still...

make sure you get the right units it did my 26gallon right (36"x11"x18")

My bowfront kinda threw it off - I didn't know how to account for the extra water in the bowed part, so for the W #, I just used half way b/n the sides and the deepest part of the bow. It only came up with 35 gals though...
