Hi!
I have a 60l tank and I currently have:
2 Honey gouramis (1 male 1 female),
2 African Dwarf frogs
3 Kuhli loaches (Will be 5 next time my lfs has some in)
and 4 crystal red shrimp.

I LOVE my shrimp and I'm thinking of upping my crystal red number to around 10, or maybe get 4 blue tigers and a few cherries.
But the middle of my tank looks bare and I really can't decide what to get! I'm not a great fan of tetras or the most of the rasboras as I'll need 6 and they grow fairly large for my tank. I also love bettas but understand they are out of the question :(.
Preferably I'd like something quite small, 1-2 inches or so that's pretty active and won't bother any of my fish/frogs/shrimp :D
I'm thinking a ram but I'm not sure how well theyd mix.

any advice anyone?
Thanks.

Sawbwa Barb could fit the bill, as could Dwarf Emerald Rasboras; Hengels Rasboras; Chilli Rasboras; Celestial Pearl Danios.

Definitely "up" the Kuhlis, try and get another seven if you can, they are great to watch when they have confidence in numbers (I have 11 Golden Kuhli youngsters in my 54l).

Thank you for replying! I'm definately going to up my Kuhlis, they havent had them the last times ive been in though which is pretty odd as they have every other type of loach! I really like those chilli rasboras/ celestial pearl danios, I've never even heard of them though!

I'm thinking of some endlers aswell, do you think I'll get over run by fry if I have some male and some female?

Endlers could work, maybe start with a single male and a couple of females, but be prepared to sell/rehome the youngsters, to prevent both genetic inbreeding mutations and overstocking.

Do you think a single ram would work in the tank aswell? I'm swaying more towards a group of rasboras atm but was wondering what else I could squeeze in if I got 6 galaxy rasboras or 6 chilli rasboras. Thanks

I just bought 6 Galaxy rasbora and they look great, they finally had some Kuhlis in but theyd just been delivered so weren't being sold :( so I'll try and get down tomorrow or in the next week to pick a few up :).
They also have some blue shrimp there too the owner said but they weren't on show so I'm hoping next time I go theyre tigers and I can take them off his hands for a reasonable price!!!
