ok this is what Iam thinking about putting in my tank....
4 platys
2 mollies
4 zebras
3 corry cats
1 or 2 snails and about 4-5 shrimp...

is this a good combination???

You may have some problem with your livebearers(platies and mollies). Those will multiply quickly(you'll expect around 30 fry per female every month) so unless you have another spare tank, I wouldn't advise getting both(or maybe non at all if you don't have the space :/) . If you keep the cories then add the shrimp(or vise versa) the bottom area will be over crowded so i would probably choose the cories b/c max size is 3inches and not the shrimp. The snails should be fine b/c they stay farely small and will be mostly on the walls/decor unlike the bototm feeders. Remember to stock your tank slowly, buy say 2 fish a week so you allow time for your beneficial bacteria to convert all the ammonia your adding.
Hope i didn't ruin your plans too much. Maybe someone else can shed some light as well :)

Actually, unless you plan on raising platies and mollies, the fry make good food. If you think thats mean you can take the fry out and put them in another tank. They are like the bunnies of the freshwater world :D Other than that these are all
good fish. What types of shrimp?
