Stocking 55 gallon tank

With my new, but used, 55 gallon tank I will be putting in my rosy and yellow barb and my dwarf blue and dwarf red gourami.
What cichlids can I put in there as well?
I have tiger barbs, but I'm getting rid of them and trading them in for a credit.

Just curious as to what would go nicely in this tank with what I already have.

Also, what's the difference between a gold ram and a red ram and a blue ram???

Anyways, it sounds like you have a peaceful community. Therefore, I reccomend maybe a pair of Angelfish, a pair of convicts or maybe a firemouth. Kribs also go good in community tanks I hear

check out curviceps and bolivian rams for starters , they shouldn't get much bigger then your gouramis . besides they're pretty good behavior wise . You could also look into apistos . Get some more of each barb 3 or 4 more[ use the tiger barbs as a trade ] . I've never heard them called red rams before , but yellow and blue are different color strains of the same fish .Maybe a red ram is a bolivian . good luck

Maybe a single firemouth, single krib, single convict or single angel fish, unless you have somewhere to move them when they breed? What about a severum??

i'v never heard of a red ram...but the others are just the different coulour varieties that are avalible

I did ask about the severum and was told I shouldn't do that at the lfs.
I have GOLD rams, not red...

I will check into the other suggestions. THANKS!
