Hello,

I have a previous post in which I got help from.. However now I need help stocking my tank.

Once the tank is fish-in cycled i want to start with Angel fish as a centerpiece to the tank. But since its tall i'm not really sure what else to put in the tank.

I do like color and I like activity. The tank has tall 24" plants in the back and a small bush like plant in the front. with 1 sunken boat (plenty of hiding places) and 1 hollowed out tree trunk.. I'm also looking to fill each layer (top, middle, bottom) with fish. So I believe angelfish are a middle dweller.

Right now I have 3 Phantom tetras and 1 Rainbow shark. If I can keep those then fine.. if not still fine they will go in my friends tank.

This is my first tank so if you have a suggestion please explain it a bit :) Until then I'll be looking at pictures and reading up on the various fish species that go with Angelfish.

Thank you!!!!

Hey, how about:
(from top dweller to bottom)

2 Golden Panchax
2 Angelfish
7 Phantom tetras (are these the black or red phantoms?)
7 Colombian Tetra
2 Bolivian Rams
5 Corydoras Schwartzi
3 Whiptails

That was a nice selection of fish suggested to you :good:

Id personally recommend the bolivian rams as they are really colourful fish (once established) and their personalities take some beating (my fave 2 fish)

the only suggestion id give with the angel fish is, Dont buy fish that could potentially be a snack for them

Good luck and let me know what fish you decide on
