im moving at the end of october to a house finnaly. i have a 125 that i have been storing for 5 years. i have had many different fish over the years but have always wanted a stingray. im ok with a sand substrate, but i dont know about filtration for it. id like to get something good. last time i ran the tank i had 2 aquaclear 500's. id like to go to a cannister or build my own if its cheaper. i am going to have a 55 in the same room with proabably piranha in it so maybe i can do a filter for both tanks i dont know. ideas please.

What are the dimensions of the 125? In the majority of cases a 125 will not be big enough for a single Ray, Even the smallest need a turning circle of 2 foot,

Also if you were looking to have a ray, ensure you are thouroughly clued up on them as most have some sort of poison in their spike.
