Wow, they are mental!
I need to tell them they are catfish and therefore bottom dwellers, they flying all over the place very often near to top of the tank!
I hate to think how many calories they burn thrashing about like they do!
Love them though, gonna get a few more

This is spawning behaviour usually. Mine belt up and down the glass doing laps just before sticking eggs everywhere.

They then lie down and look like they're dying...? Like lying on the bottom and get pushed over by the current..?

That is not normal, hows there breathing? i have some that sit at an angle like this \

Breathing normally, eating normally. All seems well apart form one who's fins are all tucked up and bent over.
