Sterbai Bred Already

well i put my sterbai into a tank on their own yesterday, noticed the females fat and full of eggs.

i have 4 mature sterbai, 2males and 2 females

and this morning both pairs breedign away in the same tank

not even 24hours in the tank and breeding

so loads and loads of eggs cos both females were breeding!!

very pleased!

Congratulations on the breeding. Do you intend to raise any fry from that breeding? I probably wouldn't have the room right now after my rainbow cichlids, lyretail molly and a guppy all gave me fry in the last 2 weeks.

congrats hun, oh I'm collecting a breeding group today can I just ask what temp you have them at as I've never bred catfish before and would you remove the adults after spawning. sorry to jump on your thread but thought I might as well ask advice at the same time. thanks and congrats again

mine are kept at 80-82 feed well and blloworm and do a nice water change and have ur fingers crossed

this lot will probs be up for sale when bug enough

as ive still got soem from the last batch a month ago.
