I think i might completely start over w/ the fish tank that i have. The only problem is that, as those who might have read my other question, i have really bad water, and we think it's seriously linked to some IBM spills and toxic dumping. My parents kept fish in our house for a long time, until my brother, about 3 at the time, killed them all by "fishing" and feeding them. Now some things w/ our ground water have shown up in the town and i really don't want to use it. I was wondering if there would be any sort of water i could buy from like a store or anything, keep the gravel for the bacteria, and do a fishless cycle. i would really like to continue keeping fish, especially since my bros, who know better than to even touch my tank, enjoy watching them. we are thinking of eventually moving across the country in a few years so we hope to get out of this toxic area. i don't think we'll be bringing any current fish that might live that long w/ us.
well thanx for any suggestions!!
