I am starting a basic salt water tank. I have have no experience with anonomes or salt water fish. I was thinking about using some Macrodactyla doreensis "Long Tentacle Anemone" in my salt water tank.

I was wondering what type of Lighting I need for a salt water tank with anemone?
Is there certain type of Anemone that can not be with other anemone fish or coral?
Can Salt water fish be used as a Community fish tank w/o aggressive fish?

well anenomes need pretty large tanks usually. As they need ultra stable conditions and often get fairly large. Metal Halides are best when keeping most types of anenomes.

there are certain types of anenome that we shouldnt keep, like they prefer different temps or eat fish. the one you were looking at does not eat fish, but is very rare in the rade and probably wont play host to clown fish

salt water fish can live in a community. they are all semi aggressive and traatorial though, so salt water communities are usually smaller on number than fresh water tanks
