I really like the look of these but my tank is over stocked as it is. I was wondering if a could replace my two noraml BN's with a M/F pair of starlights. I dont want to change if there not much of an algae eater.

Thanks

someone will move soon ;)

I got a pair in a 4ft and lots of rock and they are doing fine now, slow at first though but once they grow, which they did super fast they are just as good.
Mine i only got in late april at an inch in size and they are now 4+ inches

Hi piper :)

I'll move your thread for you. Since I'm posting on it, it will automatically be moved to the top of the list. I hope someone can answer your question for you.

:D

Bristle nose plecos are good algae eaters. They can be a bit territorial so you might just want to get one if you don't have much room.

yes that will be fine :good:

Lovely, I'm moving house in a few weeks so I'll make the change then

If your looking for a female starlight give me a shout. I have one that is fully grown and really healthy that i may be looking to offload. I never see her during the day but she is out and about all the time with the moonlighting on.

Is it a L183, juat realiesed thats what I want

Yeah moving house is a bit of a pain but I have a 60gal water tank that I use. I set it up in the new property first then drain my tank and bag the fish. Move the fish to the water tank setup the main tank then transfer the fish. Simple :?
