Hi all i have bought 2 star fish one sand starfish and one that is orange one white cant remember the name sorry.

hi sorry new to this. i would like to know if i have to feed the starfish anything or do thay feed off the algae in the tank

The sand sifting star fish will eat any life in the sand and will also eat food that falls to the bottom

Have you a picture of the orange and white one?

Many starfish don't have a great life expectancy in aquariums.

IMO you are best to get Brittle & Serpent Stars that are very easy to keep and a good addition to the clean up crew
 
sand sifter will eat debris under the sand, doesn't need feeding.
not sure what the other one is, but depends on what is going on in the tank
