starfish, need answers ASAP! HELP!!

i have a friend who had a tank full of star fish, like 30 or so. and he gave them to me, were going to bring them to the lfs tommoro, but theyre in a bucket now. how long will they be able to live in a bucket?

actually thats what it is.

can those go in with other fish? And how much do they ususally cost, or are they not ususally in the hobby.

Those stars are predatory--they will go after corals, and other inverts.

They should be able to live in the bucket for a while, but I wouldn't leave them there for long. Stars tend to be sensitive to changes in water quality, and a bucket is going to turn nasty pretty quick without water changes.
