my barb tank is about 7-8 feet from a basement casement window on the south side... and has 3-4 different varieties of vining plants growing out of it... 6 or so Pothos vines now have 4-5 foot runners, so today I removed the casement window curtain, and began training the vines to grow to the window... should greatly speed up the growth / filtering ability of the pothos, with the base in the water, 2-3 feet of vine, under the main LED's, and the tips of the vines approaching a south window, with no curtains...

NIce. Here (as no doubt there) the days are getting longer, both early and late. It's time to start thinking of outdoor projects.

we're supposed to be getting 3-5 inches of snow, but it's going north of us... so about an inch of snow today

interesting... not sure if everyone knows what a possum really on this international forum... but around here they are kind of like a cross between a cat, and a rat, and can often be seen at the cat food dish on the local farms, eating with the cats... they are honestly nasty critters with kind of a cross between a hissing and a growl... today we got an inch of snow... my outside dog was laying on a rug, just outside the back door, while it as snowing, so there was a patch of rug, surrounded by snow... I looked out the window, and there was a huge possum curled up on the patch of rug... playing dead, as the dog was near... I opened the door, and it turned and started hiss-growling at me... so I shot a huge possum 2 feet from my back door...

I shot a possum in my pajamas... how the possum got in my pajamas I'll never know
