Spraybar Direction

I have a rena FILSTAR xP3 but the instructions arent to clear as where the spraybar should be pointing ie up, across the tank, or down. can anyone tell me??

It all depends on the fish you are keeping, if you have plants, and personal preference. This is one of the nice flexable things about canisters.

large fish or heavily stocked tank, point it towards the surface or on a slight angle up, and positioned near the top of the tank

planted tank it should be pointing down or 45' down half way down the tank
