Spray Bar

so for the eheim spray bar, would you point it directly down (vertical) at the bottom of the tank??

In alot of the tank set ups the spray bar is in the horizontal position. I doubt very much having it vertical really makes that much of a difference really...afterall so long as it doesn't cause swirling water (vortexing water) then its ok...seemingly this type of water movement is bad...but thats going on a source from a forum so it could be nonsence!

I have mine horizontally on the back wall 2 inches below the water surface.

This means that the flow goes forward then down then to the sides and then to the back which means...............

..............I don't need to clean up the poop on the sand because the current takes it all to the back and sides where tha plants use it.
