Spotted Pike Characins

one of my locals has a pair of them, just wondered if anyone has had them before. im not thinking of getting them but just curious about them, info about them is all much the samey, "grows big, eats small fish"

I've read that they are quite difficult fish to keep alive in the long term since they are easily stressed and very skittish fish and are very sensitive to water quality. Personally i'd advise a 5-6x2x2ft tank for keeping these fish in, this page seems to have a lot of good info on these fish;

Is there anything in particular that you want to know about them? I know some people who keep and have kept these fish, i can always ask them stuff if there's anything specific you want to know about these fish .

lol, thanks, haha i just was curious about them, like i say i dont have any intention of keeping them.....yet. dont have a big enough tank nor the space for one.....yet.
