...Looks like a nice little Raff, can't wait for some better pics :D ...do they do well alone, or do they prefer groups?

he gone hiding so i shall have to wait , i only remembered to take a pic when he started talking when i took him out of his bag. lol

They prefer a tank alone form what i have read about them! FOr the spotted ones anyhow, althou i guess that can be said for striped unsure. never kept them before. he was the last one in the tank, so i had to have it and he was cheap!

Correct me if im wrong here but ive always thought spotted and striped doras are better kept in groups, prefferably 6 or more, this topic came up on planet catfish a while back and the generally feeling there was that they should be kept in a group as well.As for getting another picture your be lucky,i have three in one of my my tanks and the only way i know they are still alive is when i disturb them (all three snuggled up together under a piece of slate) with the gravel cleaner

Our Upsidedown cats do the same thing, I think because we only have 2, they hide constantly at opposite sides of the tank though, not together, if they are together they are always scrapping.

i was just reading about the spotted doras, conflicting info then! ah the forum will have to check me messages and look at that topic i think!

never had doras before, but this spotted one took me by surprise and i just had to take him home! not seen him since lol guess i wont for ages. it seems some fish have conflicting info about them!

guess sometimes we learn form experience it seems. any info form people who have them would be great , can add it to the fish index for this site.! cheers

So come on tell us!! How much did those puppies (kitties??) set you back? They look gorgeous and I'm sure the photo's don't do them justice :)
