spotted Cory

Hi,
I have one spotted Cory in my tank. Since he spends a lot of time on the bottom, would he be added towards the total fish count in my tank?
I have a 10G (US) tank with 2 zebra danio's 2 dwarf Gourami's and a few ghost shrimp. And the cory of course.

Corys should be kept in no less than 3, so i would get two more to keep him company

He'd be added to your total fish count because he takes up room, and also because he produces waste. The latter is more of the reason though.
