About 2 wks, started with the albino peacock...they look like they are part of the fin, and not attached to it, but seeing the blue peacock with it...Thanks
The yellow spots on the anal (bottom) fin are egg spots. Male Rift Lake cichlids develop them when they mature. When the fish breed, the female swims around and picks up the eggs and stores them in a buccal pouch under her bottom jaw. She sees the egg spots on the male's anal fin and tries to grab them. When she inhales, the male releases sperm and the female inhales the sperm, which fertilises the eggs in her mouth.
