Split tailed betta

I was courious, people when they say what kind of betta they have some times they say "I HAVE A SPLIT TAILED BETTA!!" are split tailed bettas like prized or what?

they are rarer than a vieltail....so yes, they are kinda "special"...and worth more

A "split tailed" betta is probably what is known as a "double tail". They can be somewhat prized, because they aren't as common as other types. The literally have two tails, so also have a dorsal fin that is twice as long (twice as many rays). Their body shape is also different than other bettas. I own two of them, and love them. They're very interesting!!

Some of those people don't realize that they may have a betta that RIPPED it's tail. On the other hand, you may also have a dubble tail.
