will my clown pleco or otto eat spinach? I often use frozen spinach, lima beans and peas in my recipes, so I was wondering if I can feed any of these veggies to my new fish.

I dropped a little piece of spinach in the tank last night, and now it's the next afternoon and it's still there. I've heard that herby fish like cucumber and zuchinii sp? but I don't really use that stuff much.

Spinnach needs to be blanched before most fish can deal with it, i feed it to my herbivors occasionally.

I'm not sure, but do you just boil the vegetable for a few minutes to blanch it?

Also, my otto is really inactive. It hasn't done much to help my diatom algae problem (which is another story). It will sit on the same leaf for hours. Is this normal?

Sorry about bombarding everyone with questions. Hopefully, I'll be able to pass on the knowledge to other people someday. :)

it went down like a lead ballon in our tanks. :(

even the snails didnt touch it untill it was a couple of days old.

the rabbits loved it though :)
