I was just reading -cAtFiSh-'s post about his new budgie cage and thought I'd tell budgie owners about our budgie tree.
We have 5 budgies (just took in another unwanted one yesterday) and they love sitting on their tree.
We collected (clean, unsprayed) 4'-5' tree branches from the back yard, each about 1/2" diameter, washed them, got a steady base (we bought a cheap heavy-duty plastic bucket but decided to use the Christmas tree stand instead), tied the branch stems together, shoved them into the stand and stabilised it with wadded up newspaper.
Cheap & dead easy to make.
