spawning troubles

well i didnt want to copy kelly but i did because the orange female is just so full of eggs. i dont know why they wont spawn. i had her in a glass for a day and a half he flared more at the iindian almond leaf then he did at her. the temp is around 82 and the heater is on as we speak. they were both conditioned. why is he uninterested? has he just not gone through "puberty" yet he is showing almost no interest in her at all. i have also had a hard time getting him to build a nice big nest. all of my males have been slacking off in that area lately and i dont know why i reaally need to solve this problem. this is a maybe 4 month old ct mg from kelly and a maybe 7 month old orange female also from kelly.

the tempreatures is 62? as in 62F?

if yes i think you need to turn up the heater and make it 80. 62F is too low for a regular betta to live in, nevermind breeding

i have that problem with my Melano male.. I have NEVER and i mean NEVER seen him produce any bubbles to form a nest.. and he's in a split tank with a vertical stripe baring female.

well i took the risk and left them whiole i was at school and they are unsdcathed and he made a humongo nest, no eggs yet but maybe theyll do it soon.

Good to hear Sometimes if he's not acting interested, you can release the female for a while and then vase her again, I guess it gives him the hint

i actually released her umm last night i think theyve been in contact for about 27 hours no battle scaars

grrrr he has built a nest covering half of the tank. been together for this is the 3rd day. what should i do?
pull them? different male? different female? advice please
