Spawning S.fryeri

Looks like my fryeri are going at it again,I can't even tell you how many swallowed spawns we've gone through so I don't have high hopes, I just thought they looked so cute :wub:

They're really young, I got them at 2.5 month old, I'll say they're around 7 or 8 months old.

Notice the clown loach tail sticking out of the shells?

That's my poor outcasted clown. The others threw him out long before they moved in the big tank and I was hoping all would be well and they'd take him in when they moved, nope! He sleeps all by his lonesome in the shell,every night

14 loaches/botias in there, you'd think he'd find somebody to snuggle with.

At least he has "his spot" staked out! Better than nothing... Maybe he's just a bachelor enjoying the single life. Real single! :lol:

With 14 loaches and 8 fronts, there's not a likely chance of much survival if she does hold them. I would remove her if she could make it over 2 weeks.

my little clown

they're nice to him during the day and he schools with everybody, sometimes chills with the fronts on his own. But at night he tucks himself away, maybe he does like it.

I actually just stripped my female fryeri a week ago....80 babies, I think 60-70 are still alive....the demasoni had their way with a few, but I think the fryeri will get some payback in their later days.

Jub-jub is such a good mom....too bad the market is so flooded here with juvies...I have to grow them to 3" to sell them. Wish me luck
