Sparring Glowlights

Caught a couple of my glowlights having a little sparring match.

Cool ! I’ve seen Glowlight Tetra’s do that before and I have no idea what’s going on . It seems like a couple tomcats that are content to have a Mexican standoff and not actually fight .

Most tetras aren't aggressive when displaying to each other (it's all show). It's much more civilised than some of the cichlids that rip each other apart. Most male rainbowfish do a similar thing and will show off to each other and all the girls in the tank but never do any damage to the other fish.
