Spammers Galore

I've just had to report another gazillion of the latest SPAM rampage - and still going !

Is there anything we can do ?
If these are indeed bots, isn't there something we can do ?

To the best of my knowlege - once a post is reported, that's enough and no other members should do it as well. It doesn't get rid of the SPAM any quicker and just creates more "reports" for the mods to sift though.
That's why I always note when something is reported.

Probably just because there are more people joining TFF, we are becoming more popular, and I guess large numbers of people attrack these jerks.

Not technical advances, human advances.

Spam used to be generated by bots but as the forum software became more sophisticated and blocked the bots, the spammers now used sweat-shop labour to target forums. This is quite a new idea and very difficult to defend against... hence the upturn in filthy spammers.

if this is being done manually, they are not even a bit clever.
if i were them, i would changed the title to sound like related to fishkeeping.
and create a text about fish that is linked to their dodgy website.

if they are working in a sweat shop, i do not think they have time to read.
their only rest is going to the toilet.
