My LFS has got some tiny spaghetti eels in, do they get large and fat, and wats the max size please? I doubt i can keep them though unless they really grow cos ive got a knifefish and 3 bumblebee catfish
Can you describe what they look like? If they are very thin and a clear/silvery colour they are probably Asian glass eels (scientific name unknown). They are not usually sold in the aquatics trade but recently a few shops have had them in stock, from what i know they reach about 24" in length and remain very thin with their body width not exceeding 1/4 of a inch.
Sounds like them, My LFS imports his fish rather than using a wholesaler, hes pretty gud at getting oddballs Pretty sure they are what u described, they're about 1-1 and a half inches at the moment, but only a few mm thick
