there are 2 kinds of spade tails that i have seen, the vt spade tails, and the plakat spade tails. the plackat spade tails have short tails but the spade is really defined and pointed, they are teh ones im after, but unfortunately they are rare. the vt spades are more common and on ocasion they can be picked up at walmart or a lfs. the tails on them are spade shaed but the fish in general are larger and their spaded tail is more elongated than the pk's spaded tail.
