Sources Of Glass - Uk

Hi, i am considering building my own reef tank, only a nano - 3ft long....

i am fine with the stand etc.. but am really struggling to find any relatively cheap glass fro the tank.

Can anyone help with a cheap source in the uk? And what about the cutting?

I think you will find that's because there aren't any sources of cheap Glass, in the UK. and you will have to get them to cut and grind the glass for you, still more cost.

I first visited this forum, after a Rio 180, split on me. I came to find how to repair it. having found out how, i looked into building a tank. It seemed to me it, just, had to be cheaper than buying one. How wrong i was. You can buy a 6x2x2' tank for considerably less than building one.

forget it dude... if you are not in the trade you have not got a hope in hell..... I am in the trade & find it difficult to get glass at sufficiently competitive prices for one off's

now if you want 10-20 sheets @ 2.1x1.2m that's another story LOL
