Fish Crazy
I won't be getting a Betta anytime soon.
Last night I went to Wal-Mart with NO intentions on buying fish. I got there and I saw the guppy tank with neon tetra's and I decided I wanted one.
I watched the Neon Tetras swim around, and my mother reluctantly agreed that it was ok to get some.
There was only 3 neons left, but I only had enough for 2, So I bought 2.
Their temporary home is in a cycled 1 gallon, only until I can go off to get my 5 gallon and cycle it.
Now, before you fire any insult at me, I know that they're VERY sensitive fish and they need a heater, and 1 gallon isn't enough blahblahblah.
1. They are only there until August.
2. My room is very warm and it's enough to heat it and if it gets cold, I can just take out some coldwater and add some fresh conditioned warmer water.
3. The 1 gallon, like I said is ONLY temporary, only going to be in it for less than 2 months.
4. When I get my 5 gallon, I will get a shoal of them to make everybody happy.
They are showing good signs, though. Their colors are really bright, they've eaten every bit of food I have given them (Except for a tiny bloodworm) and they don't seem to be very shy, although, I know they would like some more frends.
Unfortunately, the only decoration I have is a castle, which will soon change. Tomorrow, my mother is going to get some hairgrass, until I can upgrade, and sometime in the future, I will add a background, like the one on the fishtank.
Unluckily for me, I was going to get my air pump Up and Running, but it broke, I tried just sticking the airtube in, but 1: It's way too noisy 2: The bubbles aren't very good. I'll be looking in to buying them something to make bubbles. I will try to filter it the best I can, and hopefully it's good.
