 Just thought I'd say hello to everybody.
My name is Ian and come from Manchster UK.

I have kept a pond for the past few years and have kept koi, goldfish, shubunkins etc.

About June last year I bought two tanks. One 4ft (usually empty) and one 2ft which is now home to red wag tail platys, neons, harlequin tetras, 1 clown loach, 1 Silver shark and my mate plec.

Until a couple of days ago I did have 2 sharks and 5 mercury guppies but they all died within a few days of each other :( The possible reason for this could be I relocated the tank a few days before and stress maybe as I had to drain the water and refill. I am currently testing the water and all seem to be OK. So fingers crossed.

I will send some pics in soon.

HI there Ian and welcome to the forum. I'm sorry to hear about your fish hopefully this time it will go well, any problems give us a shout :) Make sure you test for ammonia and nitrIte during the cycling process :) Can't wait to see the pictures

Hi
Agree with checking for ammonia and nitrate, had problems myself. Also maybe an idea to add some EasyLife, which has many benefits and does a great job for new/moved tanks. Also, be careful of just having the one clown loach, as they tend to pine for each other, and really need the company of a mate or two.
