I was thinking tonight about when you rescued all those bettas from walmart and spoke with the manager. Has your walmart improved their betta handling? How are the fish you rescued doing?

I was just about to take off when I spotted my name

I've been keeping my eye out and they have really been doing a good job. The cups are pretty clean everytime I go in and the fish all look healthy I've only seen a couple dead ones and it was on a Tuesday which is the shipment day so I give the benefit of the doubt there

The ones here are all doing well. Three of them went to new homes, one to a home and two are in a biology class. I guess the kids are so interested in them that I was asked to come and talk about bettas after the Christmas break Personally I think that's the most exciting because without these Wal-Mart fish, these kids wouldn't have seen these bettas. Now, I get to spread the word a little bit on proper treatment of them

How awesome that you get to spread the betta love. Every time I see the bettas at walmart (which is every time I go) it reminds me of your rescue mission.
