To outline the situation:
Within a 4ft tank there are;-
5 congo tetras (2m3f)
1 dwarf gourami
1 betta (in a lil box)
1 bristlenose
3 banded rainbowfish (2m1f)
1 Whiptail catfish
Recently we had an outbreak of ich (about 9 days ago), and have been treating (seems to be clearing up)
However more recently (about 1-2 days) one of the male congo tetras suddenly had a bulging sore on the side of him.. it pushes several of his scales out and it looks red and nasty.. you can see some sort of white stuff inside.. it looks not good
Any ideas what this could be?
(currently we are treating with wardleys fungus-aid which has got malachite green in it among a whole heap of other stuff.. )
Thanks
