Sometimes I just want to give up!!

I'm so frustrated! I love pets(I have a zoo!) but death and sickness suck! I just went to check on my hermit crab who I thought was molting and he's dead. Almost all of my fry have dropsy. One of my neon tetras looks like someone bent him a bit where his body meets his tail(what is it?!). My pH is still acidic. And my hood has decided to melt in the middle(what the?) so my dad won't let me have the light on and therefore my plants are dying!!! Grrrrrrrrrr!

Maybe you have more than you can handle
I don't mean that in a bad way, I just mean that maybe you are overwhelmed and should cut back for a while

I know how you feel though! I am fighting some SERIOUS fungal problem in my 55 gallon and have been through hell.......

I know what you mean about death too. It's a very sad part of owning pets It's just one of those bad parts that you have to live through and get passed.

I hope you feel better! And I hope your fish do too!!!

How acidic is your PH?


your hood shouldn't be melting unless theres something very wrong with it. or I guess if it's incandescent and you use too high a wattage bulb.

Chin up! I think your dad is right - I'd never use that hood again...
I'm sorry that there has been so many problems lately but the joy you get from these pets surely outweighs the loss we all feel when they are gone...

i noticed ur name is petsmartchick. maybe its cuz the petsmart has bad fish, the one around me SUCKS!!. they told me a black convict was this wierd geophagus looking thing. all the fish i have got from there died. the people there dont know anything. i can get cheap fish there tho. the petstore i go to has one smart fish person and i can ask them to order any fish they dont have.. ( I DONT HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING!) are most petsmarts bad or is it the one where i live???

mines great (except for that one lady who yells at me for coming to to much) but i know every one there, they will order you fish with there next shipment as long as there breeder has it (that means no shiping also just you have to wait for liek 2 weeks) and all there tanks are great! they just got a whole bunch of new fish also although im sorry you petsmart sucks
