So my peppered corys have been busy spawning the last few days and this morning I spied this.
Its not everyday you see a corydoras egg stuck to the tail of one of the parents.

I guess I will have to rescue the egg and put it either back in the weed or in a net till it hatches.

Heh, weird. Why is his dorsal fin look like it's melted?

That's because its a longfin peppered. Some longfins only have long dorsal fins, others only have long pectoral fins and sometimes long tails. Mine mostly all only have the super extended long dorsal fin.

Cute, my Hasborus Cory was kind enough to lay some on a Ramshorn Snail :) image.jpeg

At least the snail would keep water movement around the eggs LOL.

Yes, I guess, except I removed them to the nursery tank then fed the Ramshorn to my Assassins :(. They have since hatched :)
