Hi everyone,

I just got 5 new fish on 12/31.  There are 3 pearl danios and 2 marigold swordfish.  This is a new, 29 gal tank.  All the fish are doing great, but I'm not sure about one.  It's one of the marigolds. It has small red blood like spots on its side and one of its pectoral fins is pretty much gone as well as one of its pelvis fins. It's swimming around and seems ok. Does anyone know what could be wrong?  I checked the ammonia and it's 0ppm.  Ugh!

Thanks so much!

Thank you.  I had an errand to run and just got back home.  Now it's on the bottom of the tank, upside down.  What do I do?!  :(

Need more information really.

What test kit are you using? Liquid or paper dip strip tests?

Parameter readings, ph, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate.
Thats if you have these tests, if not, then go to your lfs with water sample and ask for specific readings then post on here.

Is this tank cycled?
