something wrong with filter?

i have a whisper 30 in my tank, and recently the water coming out of the filter is coming out over the tube only. is something clogged? would appreciate a little advice. thank you.

How long has it been running? Have you tried rinsing the filter insert off in some old tank water?

you are talking about the black foam thing right? i think i rinsed that off like a month and a half ago. im gonna go try that now. thanks for the help

If the water is overflowing past the "tube" you either need to replace the filter or rinse it out. And remember to use water from your tank so as to not kill your bacteria!
