So Im adopting one of Wuvs bettas and decided to set up the tank to get everything ready. I rinsed everything very very well. Im a clean freak when it comes to my tanks.
This morning I come in the office and discover this.....

Thinking I must have not rinsed something off properly I scrubbed everything down again using Wellfish salt and hot hot water then let them rinse for about 10 minutes. Still these bubbles keep forming at the surface. :/

Ive been adding my Aqua Safe, everything is clean.... what on earth am I missing here?

I've had this tank running with a fish in it before and it never did this.... :/

Try doing this:
Take a binder clip or something to that effect, and pinch off the airhose unti there's a much slighther bubble drip coming into the tank. See if this helps.
I had the same problem and I attributed it to the combo of stress coat along with way too much bubblage and not enough surface area for the bubbles to spread out.

Either that or a GIANT betta snuck in during the night and blew a MONSTROUS bubble nest of giant bubbles.

give it a few hours. If this doesn't get rid of the bubbles, I'd then suggest tearing everything out of it and rinse rinse rinse everything with scalding hot water and sprinkle some aquarium salt over everything while you're rinsing.

Ok cut down on the bubbles you were right BettaMomma as always. :D Mucho thanks, everything has to be perfect when my new man gets here! :hyper:
