Has one got a forked tail?

It looks like they are all different (3 different species).

No that’s just the photo I taken , and yeah thts what I thought , they sometimes swim together but mainly alone

Can you get some more pictures? Different species have different patterns in the tail and top and bottom fin - some stripes, some spots, some a mix. The placement of the eye spot is specific too either above, on or below the lateral line can determine species too.

One thing I will say is that those Y shaped stress bars are sometimes an indicator that you have a hybrid... I think I mentioned previously that anything labeled as Surinamensis is not actually Surinamensis and usually an imported farm fish...

Also you are going to have to get that gravel switched to sand very soon as they will damage their mouths on it and eventually swallow it or try and push it through their gills - trust me... not a lesson you want to learn the hard way...

I was looking into getting sand in the next few weeks as I’m moving house and it’s a good excuse to buy new things lol I will try and get some differnt pictures there colours seem to show more after a long period of dark as for the sand I’m not looking to change my GH so is play sand a good shout , but the more I look at these fish the more I’m confident they are not 100% the same although there tail and fins pattern is the same the are only 1-2 inches tho

Different photo and this morning they look the same still can’t ID them tho and the third is yet to be seen but these two look very similar this morning
