Some nice fish there, just remember, Frontosas come from very different water, and should really be kept in a species-only tank. When it gets bigger it will probably start bullying the other fish, and then when it gets bigger than your sevs, it will probably kill them. I hold little hope for the bala shark aswell, as although they get big, they aren't agressive at all, and will take a real beating from that frontosa...

how big are the balas and the severums?I have 4 balas they are 9,8 and 3 inches long.I have 2 sevs as well.

Hey Bunjiweb, I bought the Frontosa as a baby, and it was listed as a Convict Sp. they told me it was a special sort of blue convict, and I fell for it you can say. So after that they said they wouldnt let me take it back until they sold their other frontosa, but I was hoping they would let me trade that in for the GT. I bought him for $2 though, so either way I get a good deal.

Helsekia, Both species are doing just fine together! The Severums show no aggression towards the Bala, and the Bala acts as though the Sevs aren't even there.

Ah, damn those bad fish shops! Well you would be doing the right thing by taking it back as long as they put it back on sale with the RIGHT information!

Haha yeah, but I really think they just didn't know what is was. Now however it's big enough to where I don't think a mistake can be made. Ahh I just called them and they said they don't have any GTs in looks like im going to be waiting a little bit.

Ringham, what do you feed your Fire Eel? Is mine big enough to take earth worms?
