Wow! Thanks for the nice comments guys! I never thought people would like my photos, hehe.. I'm kinda noobish when it comes to photography.. Especially with my fish - they're so active! The Flowerhorns are kinda shy though.. I'll try to post some more pics soon! Thanks again!

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!! What size tank are the FH in? (kribensis12)

A lot of people would kill me now  , as I say this but I have them each in 5 gallon tanks. I know its REALLY REALLY BAD.. but those were my only spare tanks.. When I first bought them, my LFS said that they'll be okay with other fish (they were only about 1"), so I put them with my severums. But when they started growing up, they were chasing and harrassing all my fish! So I had to separate them, and now, one is in my spare 5 gallon, and my 10 gallon was split into 2. Sorry, and I feel sorry for my fish too. I will upgrade when I get the money, and IF my parents allow me.

Update.. hehe..

This morning, my two flowerhorns suprised me! But how? They were both on one side of the tank! It seems like my golden FH jumped over the divider. They don't seem to fight, could this be a possible breeding pair?? :shifty:

I will try..hehe.. :D But I think they're still too young to breed, they're only about 4 - 5 inches! I have no experience and knowledge about breeding FH's though.. But it's well worth a try!

More pics: (I moved my other FH to the other side of the tank.. + DIRTY WATER.. will do a water change later..)

Thanks Straydum! That Severum was the BEST of the batch.. :D His other mates weren't that nice.. He's the only one with the prominent red marks.. :)

More pics to come!

Wow! Hi Guys!

After a long hiatus.. I've finally come to update this thread! It's been buried through all the new threads!

Here it goes..

The 50 gallon tank was a blast! It now has an assortment of guppies, platies, cories, glofish danios, a pair of german blue rams, an opaline gourami, and the free goldfish from a long time ago.. I took out my plastic plants, and tried my luck at real ones. I don't know what kind of plants they were, so IDs of them could really help me. The lady at the LFS helped me pick out the plants, and told m they were easy to keep.. I have very very low lighting though, only 20W of light. I will try to do something about that, and I hope my plants survive...

Then, as I got home from school this afternoon, my FH's gave me a VERY VERY nice surprise!!! :hyper: EGGS!!!! YES!!! I separated the female from the male already because they were fighting and lip locking... Any help on what step to do next?
