Nice looking tanks, you certainly love your Bettas!

They look very healthy nice to see bettas having some room to swim around for a change!

Main community tank (last photo) isn't looking amazing. I've lost 4 corys, a couple of tetras and a female betta from there over the last couple of months so it's looking really bare. The plants have decided to "melt" on me so it's a bit of a waiting game there at the moment. Just hoping they perk up. My other community tank is also looking a bit rubbish - I keep buying cabomba because it looks great for a while but then it goes stringy and gross and I never learn, lol.

how come you have a floating cola bottle in your 'newt' tank, im just intrigued.

im guessing it was filled with ice and was placed in there to adjust the temperature. i bet it didnt have much of an effect.

do u ever let those lizard things out of the tank to walk around ur house for a bit? or give them a swim in some of ur other tanks?

Repeat after me... " Hello, my name is Assaye and I am an addict..."

Loving the pics, everything looks very bright n healthy :) Very jealous at how you find the room!

It had ice in it. I have change the bottle several times a day in hot weather to keep the water below 22C. It's back in the freezer now the weather is a little cooler.

That newt is cute :p

Sure is. Very friendly little things <3

You mean the newts? Nah, they don't like warm water. One did escape once and walk across the living room floor though . . .

"Hello, my name is Assaye and . . ."

It's true.

Moved the dwarf flag cichlids and my remining 4 neon tetras into a rather swish 35L Arcadia Arc tank. They'll stay there until the cichlids need a bigger tank. They're only about an inch long atm. So cute!

I have no space, genuinely. I have four tanks in the kitchen and about 2 foot of counter space left to prepare meals  bedroom is full as well. Still planning more tanks, though. Got 10 tanks set up atm with at least one more on the way, possibly two. EEEK! It helps that my boyfriend and I have a 3 bedroom house though ^^

More pictures!

Dwarf flag cichlids now moved into an Arc tank with my remaining neon tetras. My 65 litre sorority/community (which the neons came from) now looks very bare as the plants didn't appreciate my massive de-algae mission a couple of weeks back and I've lost a few fish in there recently. I think the new corys had something :-( only got three female bettas, a juvenile aplocheilus dayi, a bronze cory and a shrimp in there now. Once my current projects are finished I'll look into taking it down or re-stocking it.

My other 65 litre community:

High plant turn over in that tank due to the destructive tendancies of the fish and my need to replace the bulbs. Another project right there  Got some java fern in there atm as that seems to do well. Some stuff I put in months back has propogated itself all over the place (albeit at a snail's pace) so I figure some more couldn't hurt.

The community is currently stocked with a juvenile blue phantom plec, a male kribensis, a yellow/golden wonder panchax, a male swordtail and two bumblebee catfish. Weird mix, I know. Still waiting on that beeping three footer to come up from my parents' house so I can upgrade them.

Finally, the goldfish:

These guys are new. Rescue job from a 2 gallon. I've had them for all of 36 hours now and I'm working on getting them a 66 gallon. Wooooop!

Took some photos of the mess that is my house as well:

Lots of tanks! I like the idea of having one on your bed side table :)

I'm intrigued, what's in the area below what I am assuming is a gerbil cage in your living room?

I got a 290 litre tank instead. Half way to a fish house!

It's a vivarium for my bearded dragon.
