Some Of My Baby Shrimp Died After Moving Them

I moved the shrimp into the tank last night and this morning 4 baby cherry's and one adult tiger were dead and one more of the babies has turned opaque but not died yet .
The others are fine and swimming around as normal
was it the stress of moving that killed them ?
or is it just one of those things - i'm having a bad week with shrimp after the others escaped and wandered off and i found them dead

the only difference in readings was the nitratesolod tank 15 new tank 10

i think i know what it could be - i fed the plants the last lot of interpet 2 flora burst - then the shrimps went in the tank - then this morning lots were dead
I managed to get one of the adult females out when she was on her side dying and put her into the 180 ltr tank and with 5 mins she was fine so my advice would be
DONT USE INTERPET 2 TO FEED YOUR PLANTS WHEN YOU HAVE SHRIMP

i now have no tigers and only 5 of the cherrys alive in the large tank (managed to save 5)

Just wanted to offer condolences - really sucks, especially as you just got the tigers.
Shrimp are so very sensitive to so many things...

Thanks very much hun yes it does really suck - just spotted another baby and saved it s
hubby just brought me 2 amanos and 5 platys and the woman at pets at home didnt know the difference between hi fin and oridinary so she gave him the hi fin in the 5 for £9 deal
so i'm still peed off but a bit happier and still keeping an eye on the shrimp tank too see if there are any more alive - though i dont hold out much hope

he's just done a 50% water change and doing another 50% one tomorrow then its staying empty (apart from the snails) with a water change every 2 days to make sure all that craps gone so that it will be ready when my CRS or blue bees come in

If you have it you can run carbon in the tank that you dosed the fertilizers in.

yeah got carbon in the tak but it didnt help so hopefully the water changes have cleared it all out of the tank
