Some Help Please

Hi, I have just started my first tank and I have maybe a very stupid question that I don’t really want to ask but I can’t find the answer anywhere so here goes, how often should you have the tanks lighting on with fish only, any help would be great thanks very much

Lighting times should be as natural as possible

But also work in with you

I run my main Whit elight for 8 Hours a day & my Actinics for 10 Hours (1 hour before & 1 hour after mains lights)
