OK guys, I will be getting 4 bettas within the next month or so (2 from wuv, 2 from inbs). I was almost decided on 2 gallon bowls, but I've decided I want to go with something CHEAP with a light. Also, for some weird reason I like the look of no gravel, and one plant inside.. What plant do you usually get? Hard to maintain it? I was wondering what you guys usually go for, as far as cube-like glass or closest thing to it- betta tanks. I'm also starting to want to "spoil my bettas as far as tank size, but not too much. Possibly 2+ gallons?

2+ gallons sounds good :) Personally i use 1G containers for my bettas with some fake plants

I assume you mean 2 gallon each? :p hehe.
Sounds comfy to me :) No gravel sounds like a good look for a Betta tank, think when I get one I will follow suit :)

Thanks guys... I definetely like those critter keepers, but they are a bit small. What kind of plants do you use?

i think they have topfin 2.5 gallon setups at petsmart for like $15. i think they have 2.5 gallon critter keepers too. not sure though?

i only have one betta who is in an actual setup. hes in a 1.5 gallon biscotti jar with sand substrate and a java fern. i cant stand gravel :X
