Some Advice Please

Hi All,

I really need to buy an external filter and i've decided to get the eheim prof 2222 for a 90ltr tank. Has anyone had any experience with these? Are they good? Are they quiet (it's going in a bedroom)

Also what kind of media will I need? I was thinking of getting 1 litre of ehfimech and 1 litre of ehfisubstrat, pack of 3 carbon pads and pad set of blue and whites.

Any help/advice appreciated thanks

I have the 2224 and it's so quiet you can't even hear it - even with your ear pressed to it !
My media sound about the same (obviously not with 3 carbon pads all in at the same time though )

Hehe , I only really use the carbon when i need it, i.e after a course of meds, but it's allways good to have them to hand!
